Favorite Artists List (Projects Grouped by Person & Role)

Fans want a single place to follow their favorite actors, writers, directors, composers, etc. and quickly see all projects tied to those people without manually hunting across title pages. Today, there’s no consolidated, role-aware view. Solution Add a Favorite Artists feature that lets users follow people (cast/crew). Provide a grouped view by artist, showing their projects segmented by role (Actor, Director, Writer, etc.) with sort and filter controls. Include “new & upcoming” indicators to surface releases at a glance. Key Use Cases See all projects from people I follow, grouped by person, then by role. Filter projects by format (film/series/episode), status (released/upcoming), platform, genre, and region. Sort within each artist group by year, popularity, my rating/seen, or new to streaming. Get alerts when a favorite artist is attached to a new project or when an existing project gets a release date. Jump into a person page or title page with one click.

Watchlist Calendar (Release & Air-date View)

Problem Users add tons of titles to their watchlist but forget when new episodes, films, or releases drop. They want a simple calendar that shows upcoming dates for items they already follow without manually tracking each title. Solution Add a Calendar view to Watchlist that aggregates upcoming release dates, air dates, digital/streaming drops, and theatrical openings for saved titles. Support list and month/week views, per-service filters, and optional external calendar sync. Key Use Cases See everything from my watchlist happening this week/next week/this month. Filter by service (e.g., Netflix, Prime Video), format (movie vs. episode/season), and region (e.g., US/CA). Get reminders (e.g., morning of release). Export to Google Calendar / Apple Calendar / Outlook (ICS feed) so dates show up in my personal calendar. Handle time zones cleanly. Extended Feature: Export Cal
